And, not for nothing, it doesn’t appear to be a battery hog on the Switch either.
The game was seriously hard to put down because of how much fun I was having. Not once did I curse a blue streak or throw my Switch across the room… I just kept playing. The game is pleasantly difficult but not punishingly so. It’s the distillation of all your favorite arcade beat-‘em-ups from yesteryear ( The Simpsons, X-Men, TMNT all spring to mind), but perfected. The World: The Game Complete Collection is absolutely for real. The legend surrounding this Scott Pilgrim vs. For me, the Switch works leaps and bounds better as a compact handheld…not that I had anywhere to go in 2020 but being able to play The Witcher in the bathroom was me living my best possible life. A side note: around the holidays I made the lateral move to a Nintendo Switch Lite which was something I should have done initially since I never use my Switch in the docked configuration.
Ubisoft was kind enough to furnish me with a download code for the game and I promptly got to work on playing it.
